Bibai Art Park

With winter not far away, we are thinking everyday about how to enjoy the snowless days we have left.  Yesterday it was raining, but we decided to visit the Bibai Art Park anyway. It’s not far from where we live and we had been wanting to go for some time.  Yesterday was the day.

We pulled into an empty parking lot and had the place to ourselves because of the rain.  First we went inside the building, which was a lot like a big open gym with a few pieces of art.

The rain let up so we headed outside.  The park was much smaller than we thought it would be, but it was still interesting.

Afterwards we had lunch at the Chinese restaurant.  It was a nice outing, even if it was raining.

Stones and autumn foliage look good in the rain. In Tokyo some trees are shedding their leaves before they turn colour - they are simply dried up this year, but the oncoming typhoon will soon drench us all!

Looks like a really beautiful place even if just freshly washed. Must be great to get out in the fresh air.
